Has anyone had experience using Movelia for advance purchase of bus tickets in Spain? I have read that the ALSA site doesn't seem to work for us here in the US, and wondered if Movelia was a viable option. Any thoughts? Thanks

Never used, never purchased any ticket in advance online. Almost certainly and with the volume of intercity journeys, it is unnecessary to purchase in advance if you turn up a half hour before (but I have no idea what your journey is) - or if you want complete peace of mind, the day before.
If you want to purchase online with ALSA use PayPal.

Agreed. For busses, you just pay before you board. They almost never fill up.

I have also only purchased Spanish bus tickets at the bus stations, which always worked fine.
