Montreaux Switzerland to Paris by Train

Yes, Maggie, it is possible. If you search on the Swiss rail site--www.rail.ch--you'll find it takes about 4-1/2 hours typically with a change in Geneva. When you search though, you'll need to use the correct spelling: Montreux. (There are trains that take longer with 3 or 4 changes.)

Very easy. From Motnreaux take a local train to nearby Lausanne. From Lausanne there are direct high-speed TGV trains that will get you to Paris in four hours. If you book well in advance (90 days allowed), you can get discount fares for as little as 25 euros. Check schedules and book tickets at the Swiss Rail site: http://rail.ch
