Do you have safe and economical minibus/shuttle recommentdations from FCO/Rome Airport to hotel closer to Vatican area? Cost?

An airport shuttle recommended by Rick is www.airportshuttle.itAlso used by travelers here is this limo service: http://www.romeshuttlelimousine.com/The airport direct train is also used by many but only gets you to the Termini train station.

Linda - We used Rome Shuttle Limousine a couple of times and we were quite pleased with the service. I don't know if they have changed the price, but I believe a car for up to 3 people was 35 Euro.

Official taxis have a set fare of €40 from Fiumicino to Rome for up to four passengers, baggage included. See here.

Kent, Julie & Tim, Thanks to ya'll for your notes. Yesterday I booked with www.airportshuttle.it for a one way and i may upgrade to a roundtrip. I believe a one-way was 35E for a mini van. since it's only me, this seems to be best fare and at least reliable. These posts are really helpful. Thanks again. Next week this time I'll be in Italia!
