Arrive Milan Malpensa 8:00am; need to get to Milan Centrale and then Verona. Is this difficult and how much time to allot? Grazie!
Not difficult at all. First, you take the bus from Malpensa to Milan Centrale (just under an hour). Then, you buy your ticket from Milan to Verona. The trip should take 1hr-22min on the faster trains and 2hrs on the Regionale (local train).
Hi Merlin,
Larry described the process perfectly. I'll add that you can get your train ticket at an automated ticket kiosk once you arrive at the Central Train station. There should be a train leaving for Verona nearly hourly. Make sure that you validate (stamp) your train ticket before you board using the yellow box near the platform.
Enjoy Verona--it's one of my favorite small Italian cities!
