On our trip to Italy this year we are flying into Rome and out of Milan/Malpensa and this will be the first time we've been to the Milan airport. Any suggestions? Anything to watch for or special tips?
When is your flight out of Malpensa? It's about an hour from downtown Milan so you'll need to plan accordingly. Bus from the Centrale train station, train from the Cadorna station.
There are 2 terminals at Malpensa. The bus from Centrale stops at both so you need to know which your flight is departing from.
We are staying close to the airport so we can shuttle there in about 10 min. Do we need the typical 3 hour before international flights? Flying out of Rome was a crazy experience so I'm just trying to be prepared. Thanks for the info. I'll make sure which terminal we need.
My wife and I are doing the same flight pattern later this year--into Rome and out of Milan. Terminal 1 of Malpensa is the terminal for international flights. Terminal 2 is for budget and charter flights.
