how exactly to get from Madrid airport to Atocha rail station using metro?? what lines, and where to change?

Metro line 8 from airport to Nuevos Ministerios station. At Nuevos Ministerios transfer to line 10 to Tribunal station. At Tribunal station transfer to line 1 to Atocha Renfe.

The direct bus from the Madrid airport to the Atocha rail station is the same price as the metro (2 euros) and MUCH faster (30-40 minutes vs. about an hour).
