Meeting place in Rome Termini? Help Please

I am coming from Paris meeting the rest of my group in Rome who are flying in from LAX..we then travel via train to Orvieto. We will arrive withen a few hours of each other. Where is the best place for us to meet? I am still deciding how to get to Rome from Paris Fly Easy Jet, arrives CIA. Fly Vueling, arrives FCO. Or overnight train, arrives Termini. Any suggestion would be much appreciated. PS-first time in Italy for all of us, so the simpliest plan the better!
Grazie

Look at Airberlin. They fly from Orly to FCO so you can meet at the airport either at baggage(ugh) or outside of customs control, then take the train to Termini, and on to Orvierto.
have fun!

Dianna, The previous suggestion is good if you're all arriving at FCO at about the same time. However, if you're arriving at different times, meeting at Termini may still be the best idea. One meeting place that would be familiar to all would be right in front of McDonald's. As this is your first time in Italy, you may find it helpful to do a bit of research on a few "essential" words for rail travel (ie: Track = Binario). Have a great time in Orvieto. It's a wonderful place! Cheers!

Ken - Just double checking, but aren't there two McDonalds at Termini? One upstairs and one down at street level?

We have taken overnight trains before, and I can recommend them if you can buy your ticket far enough in advance to get a whole compartment. However with the discount airfare these days, it is probably worth it to fly. We have flown on Vueling and were happy with the service. I think it would be easier to meet at Termini than FCO. You could pick a track number, or you could meet at the bookstore that is on the second level. I strongly recommend bringing cell phones, so you can send text messages in case of delay or a change in plans. If you take a discount carrier be sure to look carefully into the size and weight limit on baggage.

Doug, I was referring to the McDonald's at Track level (as I recall, it's beside Burger King, right across from the Roadhouse Grill and close to the well known entrance from Via Marsala - as you can tell, I always scope out the eateries!). That particular McDonald's is the one that will most readily be visible for passengers arriving via the Leonardo Express (although it's a bit of a walk from Track 25). I do recall there's another one in the underground shopping mall one floor below track level on the way to the Metro (not that I've ever dined there, of course)! Cheers!

Dianna, The method I'd probably use is the Terravision Bus to Termini. Have a look at This Website for further details. The cost is €4 PP (I believe that's for online purchases - buying at the ticket office may be €6). There's also the option of the Cotral Bus to the Anagnina Metro stop, which is another way to reach Termini. One further comment on meeting at McDonald's. You'll probably arrive at Termini at different times, so rather than standing out in front of the restaurant I'd probably grab a coffee and snack and go upstairs to the dining area. It provides a good view of the station through large windows, so you'll be able to see the others arriving. Just be sure to tell them that if they don't see you, look upstairs in the restaurant (the stairs are on the right as you're facing the restaurant). Cheers!

Grazie for your replys. MacDonalds sounds like the easiest place to meet. It looks like easy jet will be the best for
us. So what is the best way to get to Termini from CIA airport and the approximate cost.
