anyone have experience with medical assistance insurance? Thanks
Thankfully, no experience with a claim, but I do have Medjet. They have a great reputation and I always feel a little better with the knowledge I could receive their services if needed. I hope this is “the best money I ever waste” and never need to file a claim.
I had EA+ for a few years until reading this post.

I now have MedJet.
We have Medjet, never used it, but it has an excellent reputation.
Never heard of this other outfit (EA+), sounds like it borders on a scam, or at least a huge misrepresentation of coverage benefits.
MedJet Assist is strickly for evacuation. It's not medical insurance at all, just evacuation insurance. They have many plans, annual memberships, and a good reputation. We are greatfull for not having had to use them, but feel much better knowing we are covered if we do.
We have been covered by Medjet for over 20 years and not had to use the service but are very comfortable that the service would be there when needed. We have been on 9 African safaris and having the vac service available is comforting. Our Medicare supplement covers overseas medical care so do not need to find a separate policy. Most travel insurance policies have some level of medical service and evacuation covered but never had to use those services either.
