The further out you plan the cheaper the fare on Eurostar. Last minute trips are very expensive.

We need more trains on that route. But as long as UK keeps suffering from islanditis this will not happen...

can you summarise what it says - I'd prefer not to click.

Much as I respect your long standing here phred I dislike posts which are pretty much only a link to click. To me it smacks of clickbait.

I acknowledge that that is my problem not yours, but maybe others feel similar

Eurostar uses variable pricing. If you buy tickets with short notice they can be expensive.

That's what arilines, hotels, some other trains and more do on a daily basis. I did not read the article but what do people expect?

It's like those who book non-refundable travel and are then shocked that they can't get their money back. What do they think non-refundable means?

Nigel

You are not alone. I did not click on any of these click white links that people post on here as if itโ€™s great breaking news.๐Ÿ˜‚

why so afraid of links? I used to post lengthy excerpts from articles and websites and got my hand slapped, and rightly so. there are issues of copyright and fair use.

You can always do your own google using keywords from the article name, or not. really doesn't ruin my day.
