You should be able to order a Michelin map of Crete online, that would be as good as any.

I have been able to buy excellent maps at Barnes & Noble and in other book stores. Or buy online with Amazon.

Get a copy of DK Eyewitness Top 10 Guide to Crete. Most of the Top 10 guides come with a map in a back sleeve. But best is the small individula area maps throughout the guide. They show the sort of detail a large paper map wont and besides the detail they describe what it is. Very graphic guide. Less reading and more seeing. A very small book as well so easy to carry.
