Manchester UK Airport

I'm flying into Manchester at 9:40 AM from the US. No checked luggage. I'd like to catch a flight from Manchester to Dublin at 11:30 AM. Is this feasible? I searched but didn't find any recent posts on this subject.

The success of that would hinge on:
1- your arriving flight being on time
2- your carry-on bags being compliant with what may be tighter restrictions on the 2nd flight
3-the passport e-gates being functional
4- no long line at security
5-when the out going flight closes boarding
6- how far apart are the arriving/departing gates

I have no personal experience, but the above is what I would be taking into consideration.

Are you not able to book a single ticket journey from home to Dublin? I sense from your wording you are contemplating a 2 booking trip (?)

I have flown in and out of Manchester. It is not the most efficient airport. I wouldn't chance it if it's two different tickets.

There are numerous flights between those two cities. I would choose one a little later.

Why not buy a flight itinerary that takes you to Dublin all on one ticket? The airline will take the responsibility of getting you to your destination, and often cheaper than two separate tickets.

To Dublin you are almost certainly changing terminals as well at Manchester with the attendant walking. There are 3 terminals at Manchester.

Thank you all for the info. We got a really good price from Houston to Manchester so that's why we didn't book a through flight to Dublin. I can book a later flight or if Manchester but it was double the price so I was just hoping to be able to save a little and get there quicker. I appreciate all of your thoughts.

I've just checked. It looks as if you are arriving into Terminal 2 and leaving from Terminal 1, which is a lengthy walk- all internal, on the elevated 'Skybridge'.
So I would certainly leave a bit more time, just in case.
If you are looking for somewhere nice and quiet to while away a bit of time, feeling a bit jet lagged and wanting a bit of fresh air, there is a big traffic island between Terminals 1 and 3. That is a garden area. In spite of being a traffic island it is an oasis of calm.
Various memorials to the airport's wartime origins and to accidents which have happened at the airport, but they are not obtrusive.
