I'm flying out of Manchester (MAN) in mid-May on an international flight. How much before the flight would you recommend arriving to get through security and still have a comfortable margin?
At least 3 hours, especially on a Friday as it is jammed with holiday travelers going through security
I mustav never been through on a Friday, I reckon. If I pull into the rental car return with an hour and a half to departure, there's still time for a Nero's before they start boarding.
Manchester is a smaller aiport, but it would still be prudent to allow at least two hours for check-in, security, etc.(IMO), especially since it's an international flight. Happy travels!
