I noticed that the cost of this train from Terminal 1 at the airport to Milano Centrale is 13E each way but there seems to be an online option to purchase a round trip ticket for 20E.
I know exactly which train I will use to return to the airport for my departing flight home and it seems there is a three hour window on when I can use it upon arrival.
Looking for opinions on whether this is worth buying or simply sticking to buying the ticket once I arrive?

The consensus has been that you buy upon arrival at the airport, I once flew into Milan and bought mine ahead of time and that was the one time my plane was delayed!! I made the train time limit by 10 minutes so when we travel there this May I will just buy the ticket at the airport.

Paul look at it this way. One way to the airport by taxi is 65-95 euro. 26 euro for two one ways is a bargain. Buy the one way from the airport to Milano Centrale when you arrive. No need to buy in advance.
