We have a flight scheduled on united that connects in newark with a 55 minutes to make a connection. If everything is on schedule is that enough time? thank you
You should be able to make it. Newark is a hub for Untied (formerly Continental), all Untied flights operate out of terminal C. The terminal is very compact, and the gates for domestic flights are "mixed-in" with gates for international flights, so you typically don't have to walk very far. You won't have to go through any kind of security clearance.
I flew into Newark on United in 2009, and the terminal I flew into was not the "international" one. I had to take the people mover around to the international terminal and go through security. Still, 55 min would have been enough time. Of course, that depends on if your incoming flight is on time. Flights have been known to be late.
Lee,
Back in 2009 United and Continental were separate airlines. Since then they have now completely merged, all Untied flights (domestic and international) have moved to Continental's old hub out of terminal C.
