Madrid to Shannon Ireland by air

How can I get 2 of us to Shannon from Madrid? Do I have to fly into dublin?

I couldn't find any direct flights from Madrid to Shannon. You will most likely have to fly to Dublin with either Aer Lingus or Ryanair, and then on from there to Shannon.
