My daughter and I are looking for advise to get from Madrid to Munich the first part of July. I have been on the trains in Europe and they are enjoyable, but the flights seem to be much less expensive (Easy Jet...) Any advise? I really don't want to spend an entire day going to Munich through Paris. I would prefer getting to Germany to spend time around Munich. Are there any quick inexpensive trains that I am not finding online? Thanks

No - you really need to fly. It's a full day's journey or an overnight and large part of a day.

You might find it difficult to get a reasonably priced direct flight from Madrid to Munich. Frankfurt (or even Prague!) might be easier.
