Does anyone know about direct travel from Madeira to the Canary islands?

I have no direct experience, but since there have been no other responses,
This outfit runs a ferry between the Canaries and Madeira http://www.ferrylines.com/en/operators/operators-details/ferry/XNA/
It looks like ferry is the most likely option, I didn't have much luck with flights.
