Has anyone taken the shuttle from Perrache to the airport in Lyon recently? I checked the website www.satobus.com and there is no stop listed at Perrache. It looks like you have to take the train, metro, tram or taxi from Perrache to the Part-Dieu station or Grange Blanche stop of the shuttle bus to get to the airport (we will be staying near Perrache).

Yes, looks like they've cut it back to Part-Dieu (this is probably because later this year the bus will hopefully be replaced by a new tram line from Part-Dieu). I would strongly recommend taking the tram from Perrache to Part-Dieu: the trams are segregated from other traffic and the vehicles are low-floor. Going by metro requires a change of line with luggage-humping and is more circuitous.

Thanks. We need to get to the airport to pick up a car when we leave Lyon.
When we arrive, though, we're thinking to taking a taxi to the hotel since we will have been on the airplane all night from the U.S. and then the train from Paris to Part-Dieu. Do you know where to catch a taxi? I assume you set a fare before leaving?

Sorry, I've never used a taxi in Lyon.
