Does anyone know or have an idea on how much is the fare for a trip from Luzern to Paris? And from Amsterdam to Berlin? We need this information before buying our railpasses. Depending on the price we'll buy a 15 days consecutive or a 10 days in 2 months pass. We're leaving next week, so any help will be very appreciated... BTW, I've already cheked the Bahn and SBB websites, and didn't find the answer.
Thanks!
According to the Swiss rail website, the fare from Luzern to Paris is 104 Euros. But as the Basel-Paris segment is via TGV it's possible you might be get a cheaper non-refundable fare from the French TGV site. According to the Dutch Rail website, fares from Amsterdam to Berlin range from 40euro for advance/non-refundable to 100 euro for the standard fare.
Thanks Michael! so it means both trip are going to cost no less than 125US per person, right? I'm asking because that's the difference in price between the 2 railpasses we have as an option.
I think you mean no more than $150USD:) But yes that is the maximum you would will pay for the tickets.
