My daughter will be study in Luxembourg this fall. On October 31st she needs to travel from Luxembourg and fly into the Barcelona airport. There are trains she can take from Luxembourg and fly from either Paris or Frankfurt-Hahn to get to Barcelona, but cannot find any flights that go from one of those airports to another without some kind of alternate/smaller airport and then having to use a shuttle. Does anyone have idea about the simplest/safest avenue to use here? She would also need return trip back to Luxembourg on Sunday, November 8th. Thank you.
Tim, FYI for future reference...the Iberia flights are codeshares operated by Vueling. Cheaper to book direct with Vueling.
Thanks, Frank. When I searched for airlines at skyscanner.net, I didn't look at the details.
Didn't you ask this same question a few weeks ago?
EAsyjet flies from Paris (CDG) (main airport) to Barcelona (BCN) (main airport) those days for $48. Air France also flies this route.
Both Vueling and Air France fly from Paris Orly to BCN as well. Paris Orly is just as eaay to get to as CDG.
There are no non-stop flights out of Luxembourg to Barcelona and return on weekends.
Only Ryanair flies out of Hahn and it goes to an outerlying airport in Barcelona
I'll add one more option. Iberia flies Orly-Barcelona.
