Hi, We're flying into FCO on a redeye. We will take the train from Rome to Florence for our two week stay, but intend to hit a few highlights in Rome before catching the last train out of Rome to Florence. Does anyone know of a location to store our bags in Rome (prefeably the train station) while we run around Rome like zombies?

There is a left luggage area at Rome Termini, I'm not sure where it's located but the operating hours are 06:33 to 22.05 according to the Trenitalia website. I can tell you that from numerous postings on this website, the lines dropping off your luggage and picking up your luggage can be long.

I just love the inconsistency of the Trenitalia website. I'm looking at the main train website for the operating hours for the Rome Termini left luggage facility. I see 6.33-2205. Then, I look at the website provided by Lesley above, which is also from Trenitalia and it says 06:00-24:00. Go figure. The facility is there. Just carefully check the hours.

As you face the tracks, the left luggage is on the lower level (basement) on your right near the front of the station. If you know your directions it is on the south side of the station.
