I am traveling to Spain very soon (next week) and now am concerned because I didn't plan on checking any bags. I have a rolling carry on and a personal bag. I have connections and will fly into Amsterdam then on to Barcelona and don't know what airlines Air France uses within Europe and if the luggage restriction will vary. What now?
I would advise you to contact Air France directly and ask your questions of them. Every airline has different rules, and some are stricter than others. I believe that Air France allows one carry-on bag (hand baggage) measuring no more than 35x55x25 cm in their economy cabin. Many of the European airlines stop at just one piece, but I again believe that Air France also allows another small item, such as a purse, to be taken on board with you. At any rate, the weight of both (combined) can’t exceed something like 12kg. Call them for accurate information.
