Your thoughts on locking luggage if you have to store at the end of the car and not within sight.
If you lock, what do you use?

I always secure my luggage regardless of where it is store -- overhead or at the end of the car. I use a retractable, combo cable lock -- about three feet in length. If I cannot secure the bag to something solid then I lock the bags together. What you are trying to prevent is the grab and run theft that MIGHT occur at a station stop.
