Lufthansa CEO says things will be bad until next summer, apologizes

A message from the Lufthansa CEO that was signed by all their senior management was sent yesterday to the frequent flyer members in which he acknowledged that the situation is a mess, they are understaffed and scrambling to find planes, and advising everyone that they don't expect to be up to speed until the summer of 2023.

I found it an impressive message, respectful and realistic. It also has little bit of a promotion of the expected rollout of new Airbus models that they are adding to their fleet. I'm mentioning it now in the transportation forum section because the DW business news top stories tonight included coverage of the Berlin airport - unruly passengers are even more surprising in Germany than in the USA :-)

I got a very similar email letter today from the President and CEO of Air Canada. IMO most large international airlines and airports are experiencing the same problems. They aren't going away any time soon.
