We booked a flight on Lufthansa several months ago. We want to land and go straight to Strasbourg and heard about a bus offered by Lufthansa. Website wants the flight and bus booked at same time. Can’t figure out how to put in our flight number and book the bus. Any suggestions? Or should we just catch a train. Landing 8 am Dec 8th in Frankfort and need to be in Strasbourg that day to check into the hotel. Thanks for any suggestions.
The Lufthansa bus is a 2.5 hour drive for $59. I think that's an optimistic travel time, but it's certainly equal to any train route. Call them direct, because it looks like there's only one bus a day.
I believe there is a bus from Frankfurt to Strasbourg, but I'm not sure how to ticket is along with you airfare. You can also take the train from the Frankfurt airport to Strasbourg. If you use a long distance train (IC or ICE), you go to Offenburg and take a regional train across the Rhein, via Kehl, to Strasbourg.
Call them direct, because it looks like there's only one bus a day.
On December 8th there are 5 departure times: 0830, 1030, 1330, 1730 and 2200.

From: FRA
To: XER
XER is the Lufthansa bus station near the Strasbourg train station https://maps.app.goo.gl/5wL2t8jjKe2yNKzx6

No idea where you are flying from. But normally, you should have booked a flight to XER (and not FRA). You could then fly to FRA and then continue by bus to XER on one single ticket (guaranteed connection in case of delays).
Apparently, you booked a flight to FRA. In that case, you should check within your booking if you can add an extra flight (=bus) (no idea if this is possible).
When booking on a single ticket, your luggage will even be delivered to a specific location for those traveling on to XER.

'All luggage checked to the LH Express Bus (Strasbourg) and LH Express Rail (Cologne, Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Dortmund, etc.) can be collected at luggage station T in the long-distance railway station. '

We took the bus last December and it took about 2.5 hrs. to get to Strasbourg. Contact Lufthansa and try to add it to your original booking. If you can't do that, you can book it separately.
We also took it back to the airport. The drawback was that in order to be sure we would make our flight home, we had to take the 4:00AM bus, which involved standing in the cold at the bus stop in the middle of the night. But the whole process was generally convenient and I would do it again.
Years ago, I took this plane/bus combination regularly. It always worked well. I actually slept better on the bus than on the plane.
Thank you for the responses. Called Lufthansa and got the tickets.
