Lufthansa APIS question

Hi,

I recently booked a roundtrip Lufthansa flight from the US to Germany (and back, obviously). In the booking information, there is a section for visa and immigration data, with the statement: "For flights to the USA, airlines are legally obliged to transmit passenger data to the US authorities via the Advance Passenger Information System (APIS). This rule does not apply to passengers with a permanent resident permit (‘green card’) or to transit passengers. You can enter your APIS data below."

Within that page, there is a section to enter the address of the final destination. This is my question, for anyone that has purchased similar tickets: are they looking for our final destination in Germany, or final destination upon arrival back in the US? We are US citizens, if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

I haven't encountered that. But it does say, "For flights to the USA -- so I would assume your US address.

I recall encountering that with Lufthansa this Spring, flying to France from the US. I remember being puzzled at first, although I'm not sure what I filled in, but I know I didn't enter an address in France.
