has anyone used lockers or bag drop off at the train station in Lucerne? How much is it? Are there lockers that fit more than one bag in one locker? There are 5 of us traveling, but we travel light and can usually fit everything into 1 or 2 lockers depending on size choices. I'm wondering what are the options, online, it says bag drop off and no prices are listed.

We used the lockers, in 2007. Five of us, traveling through Luzern and wanting to spend a few hours. There were large lockers but although we travel light we needed two for our 5 person luggage. It is a few Swiss francs and you need coins to plug into the lockers.

2 yrs ago I used the lockers for 2 average size wheelies. I do not remember the exact cost but it was approx $5.00 USD for the day.
If it had been much more I would have remebered. It beats lugging luggage just for a daytrip IMO.

We used the lockers this past Sept. Three small suitcases plus another bag full of "breakable" souvenirs took two of the large lockers. Biggest problem was we had to buy a couple of small drinks from the Burger King in the station just to get the correct needed coins.

The lockers at most all Swiss train station come in three sizes. The largest one can fit two carry-on type bags with a little bit of room to spare.
