Does anyone know of airlines or websites that offer low cost intra-Europe airlines?
Some travelers here think this may be the single best website for that:http://www.flylc.com/directall-en.aspThese sites are also good for what you're looking for:http://www.skyscanner.net/http://www.whichbudget.com/
I have flown on Vueling Air from Paris to Rome, was happy with flight, service and airports used.
I have flown air berlin and tui fly both were okay. I like air berlin a little better.

Like Pat, I too flew with Vueling from Amsterdam to Paris & thought they were great!
is a great place to start. You can look up the city/country you are flying from and too and it will tell you all the lost cost carriers that fly that route.
I have flown air lingus, skyeurope, and ryanair and all three were fine. If you plan to fly a lot you might want to consider getting a visa electron card, as most low-cost airlines charge you $5-10 per flight for using a credit card. Also remember the baggage restrictions are strict.
Yes, thanks Lee. I did go back to Rick's travel store and saw that his bag was an inch too big. So I paid the check-in fee with my Easy Jet reservation.
Does anyone know if I'll be able to carry on my new Rick Steves roll-aboard onto Easy Jet?
Someone recently reported having to check the RS roll-aboard on Easyjet. Easyjets maximum length allowed is 55cm (21.6"). The person was really incensed because the website says the roll-aboard is 21", but someone else measured his and said that, although the bag itself is 21", with wheels and handle, it is really 22".
You might sneak it by, but by rights, they can make you check it.
