Last time in Lourdes I took a taxi to the local airport. It was farther than I expected and expensive. Does anyone know of any buses running from Lourdes to the airport? I couldn't find any when I was last there. Thanks

There are buses according to the airport website - timetable is at http://www.tlp.aeroport.fr/voyageur/acces_parking/transports.html#commun. The buses aren't frequent though, although sometimes such services are timed specifically to connect with incoming flights.

Phillip, thanks for the bus info; it's a much better option than a taxi. Do you by any chance to if there would be a taxi at the train station late at night in Lourdes? I'm arriving by train from Paris about midnight, and am thinking of booking a hotel by the train station the first night. I remember it being such a small train station, I'm concerned I may not be able to get a taxi late at night to take me to a hotel near the grotto. I'd welcome your thoughts.
