Can any one tell me about their experience with LOT Polish Airlines.

Have used them in Poland to go to Prague, Budapest, and others from Ord; as far as I know they are now owned by Lufthansa, and have the same service standards.

LOT (as well as Lufthansa) is a part of Star Alliance and at some airports you deal with their representatives rather than reps for the individual airlines. Most of my experiences with LOT was through Star Alliance at Gatwick, London.(This was several years ago, I don't know if they still fly out of Gatwick.) Don't know if this information helps you, but I just wanted to take this opportunity to say that the people at that desk are the most amazing and helpful airline employees I've ever dealt with! One man in particular with whom I dealt on several occasions is a true prince among men, a saint!

Janet, we flew LOT from Vilnius to Warsaw last September and it was fine. The airline employees were very courteous and the flight was uneventful.
