Look who's waking from hibernation early...

Norwegian Air announced in April that it was planning to hibernate until March 2021 with a mere 7 planes in operation. Fast forward to June, and Norwegian has announced that it is re-starting some short haul flights to the UK (London Gatwick and Edinburgh) and adding 12 planes back to the active fleet.

They are restarting a couple of flights within and to/from Scandinavia. Meanwhile, the Swedish Crown Bailiff (government agency responsible for debt collection) are trying to get hold of their assets as compensation for unpaid debts.

We just received a full refund for the flights we had booked for July-August but which (fortunately) Norwegian canceled. We’ll fly them again - hope they remain on business, despite us not contributing to their income at the moment. Times are tough, more so for some than others.
