Has anyone found a reliable source of info for the travel time between stops on the Tube? If I'm at St. Paul's and need to get to Paddington Station, it would be helpful to have a general sense of how long the Tube will take! Thanks!
I'm a bit rusty on the London tube but St. Paul's has a stop on the Central line (Red line on the drawing linked below). Paddington is a large stop on the Circle line (Yellow line). You can take the tube from St. Paul's to Nottinghill Gate and then transfer to the Circle line for one stop to Paddington. The Central line train runs every 4 minutes during the day. Should be under 15 minutes assuming you don't go the wrong way on the tube.
Or, you can walk from St. Paul's a couple of blocks to the Canon Street or Blackfriars stations on the Circle line and just ride around until you get to Paddington.

Just head over to www.thetube.com and enter the two stations you are traveling between into the journey planner, and it will tell you exactly how long any trip will take.
To keep in mind for all Tube rides, in the London Walks brochure it says to figure out distances on the Tube, average 3 minutes between each stop.
