London Travelcard on DLR to Greenwich Observatory?

If I get the 7 day travelcard from a railstation (I want the 2 for 1 deals that go with it...)
-can I travel anywhere the DLR goes? I need to get out to the Royal Observatory in Greenwich.

The DLR is covered by Travelcards but you need to make sure you get the right zone. Cutty Sark station on the DLR is in Zone 2. (Don't use the Greenwich DLR station, it is in Zone 3, and is also further from the historic parts of Greenwich.)

Greenwich station is in both zones 2 and 3, and has one of the earliest rail station buildings still in use (1840). It may be more convenient to get here by the railway from Cannon Street depending where you are staying rather than coming out on the DLR. You can change then to the DLR for Cutty Sark.

As an alternative one way consider using the pedestrian tunnel from near the Cutty Sark under the river to Island Gardens to get a view of Greenwich itself.
