Train. The Eurostar does London to Paris in only 2 hours 15 minutes. Purchase tickets at http://www.eurostar.com. Tell the site that you live in the UK. The earlier you book the cheaper the fare is.

Eurostar. Book early to get best rates.Second class is lovely, no need to go first. I have done it a couple times,, a nice 2 1/2 hr trip,, city center to city center.
