We are going to be heading from London to the Channel Islands next year. Would like any feedback on the travel methodflying as opposed to taking a ferry from the south coast of England. Any helpful hints would be appreciated that will help us make the travel decision. Thanks!
We have flown British Airways to Jersey from London Gatwick. (We didn't actually land but that's another story!) Much more time efficient. Here is a site that lists airports and airlines with flights to Jersey and Guernsey. http://www.channelislandsdirect.co.uk/flights/flight_schedules Edit - I see you can get flights from London City airport - that might be a good option http://www.londoncityairport.com/
We flew British Airways to Jersey from London. Easy and convenient. when you are in jersey, consider a day trip by ferry to Sark. Very laid back olde world experience.
