How do we get to Conwy, North Wales, and how long will it take from Bath?

For London-Bath Spa you have a choice of train or coach. For Bath Spa-Conwy the train is your only choice.

My husband and I will be traveling by train between these two points this coming April. This will be our first trip to England, so unfortunately can not speak from past personal experience with the rail companies. However, our train leaves Bath Spa at 10:35, we have one change to make at Newport (South Wales), and we arrives at Conwy at 15:29. Trip duration is listed as 4:54 hours.
You will have to contact the operating train line to reserve your ticket. If you contact www.nationalrail.co.uk they will give you the appropriate phone number. For our reservation the trains are operated by Arriva Trains Wales (phone number 011-44-8709-000-773). I made our reservations with them this morning and they were very helpful. However, they will not mail tickets to the U.S. so we are opting to pick the tickets up at a ticket machine in Bath or in London.
