Just wanted to see what is the best way to get to the airport? Would be best by tube or by bus? We are staying @ the Days Inn Westminster and are close to the Victoria Station. Let me know.

I'd strongly recommend the train from Liverpool Street. Take the Circle Line around from Victoria to Liverpool Street. Bus services to airports from London tend to be subject to bad traffic delays.

The train from STN airport to Liverpool St. station usually is more expensive then the entire air ticket. But EasyJet's EasyBus offer very affordable service between STN airport and the City of London - as a matter of fact they're cheapest at the moment and reliable.
