London-Paris-Swiss Travel Best Route passes- Budget

Hi,
Below is my travel plan. Need help in planning which is the cheapest way to travel (budget) on the below itinery by Eurail.

Travel Plan

April 16: Leave London - Goto Paris
April 18: Leave Paris - Goto Zurich - Goto Lucerne
April 20: Leave Lucerne - Goto Interlaken
April 22: Leave Interlaken - Goto Zermatt
April 24: Leave Zermatt - Goto Geneve

I think I will have to buy a Eurostar Ticket, and a 4 Day Select Saver Pass for 2 Adults.

Thanks

I think you should consider buying a Eurostar ticket for the London to Paris trip, and then a point to point ticket from Paris to the Swiss Border, i.e. Basel. Then upon arrival in Switzerland, activate or purchase an 8 day Swiss Pass. this will get you on all of the routes you plan to take in Switzerland, along with the municipal transit systems in Zurich, Luzern, and Geneve. Moreover, it gives you admission to the museums and sites you are likely to be visiting during your stay, and significant discounts on the high mountain lifts and rail lines.

Also, do not over look some of the discount airlines from London to Paris, it may be cheaper than the Eurostar. City Jet offers fares from London City airport, on the Docklands, to Paris Orly for about 65 GBpounds, whereas the Eurostar runs 75 GBp.

I hope this helps,
Kevin

Discount fare Eurostar tickets for London-Paris on 16 April are going fast, but if you book NOW at www.eurostar.com you can get a fare of £39 for departures at 06:55 and 07:27. Or £50 for departures at 08:02 and 08:55. Fares for later departures start at £73. To get one of these fares register on the site as a resident of the UK.

Discount fare tickets on 18 April for direct TGVs from Paris to Zuerich are also going fast, but if you book NOW at www.tgv-europe.com you can get a Piccolo fare as low as €53. To keep the site in English and to avoid being bumped to the Rail Europe site which doesn't offer discount fares, choose Great Britain as your country of residence. You can pick up your tickets at any SNCF station in France.

Buy either 2nd class Saver Swiss Flexipasses or 2nd class Saver Swiss Passes for your travel from Zuerich onward (whichever one covers all your travel days for the lowest cost).
