London =- National Express Rail Strikes

Bit of a mess, but at least at the moment they've limited the days to Thursday and Fridays... hopefully it stays that way as I've booked via them to get from Edinburgh to London at the end of my trip. If you're coming over and have booked with them, you'll need to book again with someone else, and even that is sketchy with increased demand.

Adding the fair amount of tube line shutdowns and station closures, and I'm very glad I'm staying in central locations!

To make it clear to anyone who doesn't understand the implications, National Express East Anglia run the rail service from central London to Stansted Airport. They are trying to run some kind of service, but anyone flying into or out of Stansted on the next few Thursdays and Fridays should be ready for overcrowding and delays whichever transport mode they were planning to take.

Note to the OP: National Express services on the East Coast line to Edinburgh will NOT be affected by this strike, it's the East Anglia services from Liverpool Street station.

Thank you for adding the info! The last paper I read was right as it was starting, and gave very little information. I imagine it's rather tough on Stansted people, as it seems to be a harder one to get to than the others in the first place.
