We plan on stopping at London tourist office at st Paul's. Is this the same st Paul's cathedral at Ludgren hill your it's bus stop?
Thanks, frank
Is this the same st Paul's cathedral at Ludgren hill your it's bus stop? There is only one St Pauls Cathedral which is on Ludgate Hill. There is no Ludgren Hill as far as I know in London. There is a TI (a very good one) south of St Pauls near the Wobbly Bridge. You may see the Wobbly Bridge on maps as the Millennium Bridge. Is this the same ... your it's bus stop? I'm really sorry, the sentence makes NO sense. "your it's bus stop?" I cannot understand. I have never known anybody to be referred to as a bus stop (maybe Monty Python but I don't think so). What is it that you are trying to ask?
We were planning a late afternoon visit to theThe City of London Information Centre, just south of St. Paul's Cathedral, (St. Paul's Churchyard, Tube: St. Paul's). then we were planning to get on the London By Night evening bus tour. One of their stops is the St. Paul's Ludgate Hill Tourist Bus stop. I just wanted to make sure this stop was actually by the Cathedral. Sorry for the misspelling.
Thanks, Frank
OK Frank, I've had a look and used my fairly comprehensive knowledge of the area. If it is the See London by Night gang I gave up on their website because I couldn't see what I wanted to. Visiting the TI is a very good idea. They have one quite long counter with several helpers behind it and a pretty comprehensive display of brochures and leaflets. They have quite a few on various walks - why we drop in - and up to date theatre information, and much much more. They also sell some decent souvenirs. They would be the people to ask about the exact location of your bus stop. My memory is that the HoHo stop is just a little down Ludgate Hill from St Pauls, in other words from the TI walk west past St Pauls south tower and start down the hill towards Fleet Street. It used to be a short distance after the road straightens out. I think it was uphill only, going east. The TI would know.
