I'm leaving a few bags in a locker in the Madrid airport. I'm wondering if anyone has ever had an issue with security in airport lockers, because I'd like to leave my new laptop in the locker. Does anyone have any advice as to whether or not the lockers are secure in the Madrid airport or a similar airport?

I would say that based on my experiences at other left luggage facilities - lockers and manned counters - I wouldn't hesitate to use them. I'm sure things happen, but it's extremely rare.
