I am trying to find the schedule for the local train from Madrid Atocha Train Station to Escorial in the afternoon and also the return a few days later from Escorial back to the Madrid Airport..

Check the RENFE site...it should appear...The train to Salamanca stops there. The station in Madirid is the Charmartin, not the Atocha.

Thanks much, I can find it using Salamanca instead of Escorial. I assume we can just buy tickets once we arrive.
