Lines in March vs. Museum Pass

Are the lines long enough in March to justify buying the Museum Pass? We are going to only five of the museums listed.

San Chappelle, Louvre, Orangerie, Musee d'Orsay, Cluny. We have a tour to Notre Dame/San Chappelle, but we will need to purchase tickets at SCh. We also have a tour to the private apartments at Versailles which includes admission, so we won't need the MPass there.

Ste. Chappelle has a security line that even pass holders must go through, and that's the holdup there - not the ticket buyer's line. So a pass would not be a timesaver there. Get there first thing in the morning, if possible; that way you not only get through the lines quickly, but the chapel itself is not too crowded to enjoy. I can't imagine long lines at the others in March (I don't think Cluny has long lines even in summer). If you are really worried, you can buy advance tickets online for the Louvre and the Musee D'Orsay (the ones that might be a problem). In addition, remember that the Pass is only for consecutive days; unless you are running around like crazy, you'll need a 4 day pass to see all that, and that would be expensive for just the places listed.

I'm so glad you clarified that you would be in xxx. I was going to answer for London.
