Left Luggage in German Train Stations

We are going to take a day trip at Eisenach (Bach's birthplace) and Prien (Chiemsee palace) in Germany, as an on-the-way stop overs. Are there left luggage or lockers at the train stations in Eisenach and Prien, where we could store our bags ?

I can tell you right off that there are lockers in the station at Prien, because I used one of them in August 2009 while I went by streetcar and boat to Herrenchiemsee. Page 2 of this picture from the Bahn website show at least 19 lockers in the Eisenach Bahnhof

Hi Lee, Thanks very much, that's great help !! We are going to Salzburg from Munich and this would be a great stop.

In August 2009, I was going from Munich to Freilassing, where I spent the night before going to Salzburg, Mondsee, Bad Ischl, and Hallstatt. I had all day to get to Freilassing (normally about 2 hours) so I stopped at Herrenchiemsee. The lockers are against the station building across the platform from track 1. I used the tunnel between tracks to get to the streetcar station below the Bahnhof. There I bought a round trip ticket for the streetcar and the boat to the island. It's not a real long walk from the Prien Bahnhof to the harbor at Stock, but the streetcar is interesting (tauted to be one of the last steam streetcars in the world) and it saves you the walk. When you arrive at the island, there is a kiosk where you can reserve a tour time. From there it is a fair walk (several miles, I think) to the palace itself. There are horse carriages that will save you the walk.

Thanks for the great detail - I am sure we will do the streetcar also.
