I plan to take the night train from Zagreb to Munich in August. I have found train & schedule info., and am just hoping to get some idea of what the price will be.
I am considering a railpass (traveling in france & Italy as well),but have read that railpasses are not accepted for night trains in some regions. Is this true for Zagreb to Munich?
Any estimates as to what a 2 person private sleeper would cost without the use of a railpass?
I am also wondering about the best way to make reservations, as the croatian rail website does not seem set up for international travel (and when using closer travel dates the german rail site and rail europe still do not allow reservations for this journey). Should I phone from the U.S.?
