Le Passeport for teens???

I understand that the le Passeport is the best deal to travel to Versailles and include the entry and RER fare for adults, but would it be necessary to buy the le Passeport for 2 13 year olds for entry into the Chateau and all of the included sights available on the Le Passeport? Does this make sense? There are several other sights in Paris that are not clear about fees and fares for teens as they have free entry into most all musee. Also what about the tethered Balloon ride? Worth it or not? ED Merci in advance!
