Layover time needed for CDG connecting flight

Hello - We are returning home to the US from Malaga Spain. A number of flights go through CDG, but only show 1 - 2 hours to make the connection (Delta and its Alliance friends). Is that really enough? Thanks.

Two, yes. One, it would depend on the terminal change and if your flight were on time. CDG is huge.

My husband missed his CDG connection coming from fogged in Verona one day. The airline had to reroute him. The only problem with this scenario is if you have a checked bag and if it doesn't follow the rerouting. In our case, there was no problem. He just got home six hours late. Best to get a two-hour change.

As Bets said, CDG is huge. It depends on which terminal and gate your incoming plane comes in and from where your outgoing plane departs. There are floor plans of the airport. Walking times can be very time consuming, or not, depending on what I said in the 2nd sentence.

As long as you are on Air France and transferring to Delta, you should be OK. We took a code-share flight from Madrid to CDG and then on to the States in May. The first flight was Air France and the second was Delta. Because they both use Terminal 2 at CDG, it was a relatively easy transfer. I think we had 1 1/2 hours for the transfer and made it with ease--but we're familiar with CDG. The good part is that Air France kept us "airside"--beyond the security screening--by busing us from our CDG arrival gate to the transfer point--we didn't have to exit airside and go back through security, so this saved us a lot of hassle and time.
