Looking at SBB from Montreux to Luzern there is a 5 min connection in Lausanne. Traveling w/my 10 year old and roller luggage can we make it from track 1 to track 7? I know they run every hour,but I hate to waste an hour in the station!

You should be OK. Move to to door so you are ready to get off the train as soon as it stops. Look for the entrance to the subway that runs underneath and takes you to the other tracks. Lots of people will be heading that direction as well, but make sure you don't follow the ones going into the station. Walk down the tunnel to the one marked for Track 7 and pop up to the platform. If you are lucky it will be a ramp; if not hopefully you can each carry your luggage up the stairs. That's a nice map Michael provided.

Thank you both! I tried everything to find a map...yes, I will be standing at the door when it opens and we will move fast.
