I hooked two RS Italy tours together - the first ends in Lake Orta, the second starts in Venice. I've taken RS tours before and the Tour Leader helps with on going transportation at the end of the tour so I should be able to get from Lake Orta to the Milan airport along with others in the group. From the airport I can take a train to Milan central station and from there a train to Venice. Since I am not sure about timing I plan to buy my train tickets the day I need them, including the ticket for the leg from Milan to Venice. BUT I am wondering - this method takes a bus and two trains - is there an easier (but not expensive like flying) way get from Lake Orta to Venice?
