I checked on the Vaucluse departmental website and there are notably infrequent buses serving Lacoste. You will need route 7 from Avignon to a town called Cavaillon and then route 15.2 to Lacoste. Links to both timetables are at http://www.vaucluse.fr/2826-lignes-et-horaires-du-reseau-transvaucluse.htm#par21835 LOOK CAREFULLY at the headers to both bus timetables as journeys only run certain days of the week and are different in school termtimes (periode scholaire), the main summer holidays (grandes vacances) and other school holidays (petites vacances).
